Get your BCB Location Launcher
Get your location to BCB quickly when you're off-grid. One tap gets your coordinates and opens BackcountryBuddy in Messages.
STEP 1
Install the BCB Shortcut
Tap below, then choose Add Shortcut.
Install BCB ShortcutOnce it's installed, come back to this page for the final step.
STEP 2
Add BCB to your Home Screen
Tap your browser's Share button → Add to Home Screen → Add.
Look for the new BCB icon on your Home Screen, then tap it once to finish setup.
When iOS asks for location permission, choose Always Allow. BCB will open in Messages with your location ready to send.
You're trail ready.
After setup, the Location Launcher is stored on this iPhone so it can still open in a dead zone. Messages still needs cellular service or supported satellite SMS to deliver your text.
